The little temple was discovered under the bushes and
while cutting them the image was scratched: this sign
is still visible in the painting on Virgin Mary's face.
A lot of pilgrims arrived to venerate the Holy image
and with their contribution the first Sanctuary of Pancole
was built in 1670. during the 2nd World War the Church
was bombed but luckily the Holy image was not destroyed.
The church was rebuilt and completed in 1949.

Every day from 9:00 to 12:30 an from 16:00 to 19:00.
Monday morning closed.

Every day, half an hour before the celebration of
the afternoon Mass it is possible to take part in the
rosary.
